ASA Trapezoidal Roofing Sheets are made from a rigid PVC-based compound combined with a weather-resistant ASA surface layer. The PVC substrate provides structural stability and resistance to moisture and chemical corrosion, while the ASA layer helps protect the roofing surface from ultraviolet exposure and color fading. Processing additives are incorporated to support material durability and consistent manufacturing performance.
Production starts with the preparation and blending of PVC resin, stabilizers, and selected additives. The compound is heated and processed through co-extrusion equipment, allowing the protective ASA layer to bond with the underlying PVC material. Profile-forming equipment shapes the sheets into distinctive trapezoidal ribs, creating straight channels designed for efficient rainwater drainage and practical roof installation.
The formed sheets are gradually cooled, trimmed, and cut to specified lengths. Production inspections focus on rib dimensions, sheet thickness, surface uniformity, and overall profile consistency. Completed roofing sheets are stacked and packaged for bulk transportation to construction sites and building material distributors.
