PVC Hollow Roofing Sheets are manufactured primarily from rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin, combined with heat stabilizers, pigments, and selected processing additives. Unlike conventional solid roofing panels, these sheets feature internal hollow chambers that reduce overall weight and create insulating air spaces. The multi-wall structure provides structural rigidity while helping limit heat transfer through the roofing surface.
During manufacturing, prepared PVC compounds are heated and processed through specialized extrusion equipment. A hollow-profile extrusion mold forms the internal cavities and reinforcing ribs, creating a continuous roofing sheet. The material then passes through calibration and cooling systems to maintain uniform wall thickness, accurate dimensions, and stable hollow structures.
After cooling, the sheets are cut to specified lengths and inspected for surface quality, profile alignment, and internal cavity consistency. Finished panels are stacked and packaged for transportation. This production method creates practical roofing materials for industrial workshops, agricultural facilities, and commercial buildings requiring lightweight construction and improved thermal insulation.
